Nkole Nkole is a seasoned Communications Specialist with over a decade of experience dedicated to elevating brands, shaping strong narratives, and growing strong connections with different audiences. With a career rooted in media and expanded through roles in leading international organisations, Nkole has become a trusted expert in designing and implementing impactful communication strategies that enhance brand visibility and build trust.

Beginning as a Features Journalist, Nkole refined the art of storytelling, quickly advancing to become an influential voice in media and a respected source of in-depth reporting in Zambia. This foundation in journalism has been instrumental in Nkole’s work with international organisations such as UN Women, the World Food Programme (WFP) and UNICEF, where her communications efforts not only informed but inspired audiences around key issues, including food security, child rights, and gender equity. Nkole has led end-to-end communications strategies, from content creation and social media management to media engagement, ensuring that every piece of communication connects with the intended audience.

Nkole also served as a Communications Strategist at Ku-Atenga Media, a leading Zambian communications agency where she lead efforts to support various brands in strengthening their market presence and public engagement. In this role, Nkole was responsible for developing tailored communications strategies and coordinating communications projects that aligned each brand’s unique values with its audience’s expectations.

At WFP, Nkole was responsible for the successful execution of the Farm to Market Alliance (FtMA) Branding and Communication strategy, a multi-stakeholder initiative aimed at improving market access for smallholder farmers in Zambia and in sub-Saharan Africa. Nkole’s role involved managing communications to both internal and external stakeholders, capturing content from the field, and developing narratives that showcased the program’s impact across 15 districts. These efforts not only increased awareness of the program’s successes but also strengthened the alliance’s brand as a trusted partner in agricultural development in Zambia.

Nkole’s experience extends to high-stakes branding efforts for UNICEF where she applied her expertise in engagement and advocacy to amplify messages that protect and empower children. Nkole’s work here included developing content in support of UNICEF’s campaigns across multiple platforms to drive public awareness on vital issues.

Nkole continues to use her background in branding and communications to create meaningful impact and in supporting different organisations achieve their strategic objectives.
